TabDaddy reads a receipt, works out what each person owes, writes a message asking for it, and builds a payment link. That is all it does. It is a tool for composing a request — it is not a payment processor, a bank, a lender, or a collections agency.

By using TabDaddy you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use it.

TabDaddy never holds, transfers, escrows or touches your money. Payment links open Venmo, and everything financial happens between you and the other person inside Venmo, under Venmo’s terms.

We cannot see whether a payment happened. Any debt shown as paid was marked so by a person, not confirmed by us. Do not rely on TabDaddy as a record of what has actually been paid.

TabDaddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Venmo or PayPal. Venmo is a trademark of PayPal, Inc.

Your first scan is free. After that, scans are sold as a credit pack or covered by an Unlimited plan. A credit is used when you create the payment links for a receipt — not when you scan or type one — so a receipt you abandon costs nothing, and correcting a name or an amount and making the links again does not cost a second credit. While an Unlimited plan is active, nothing is deducted at all.

Credits do not expire and have no cash value. They are not refundable except where the law requires it or where something went wrong on our end — if a scan failed or you were charged for something you did not get, write to us and we will put it right.

Unlimited is an auto-renewing subscription sold in the iPhone app and billed by Apple. It renews at the price shown until you cancel, which you can do at any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling keeps the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple under its terms. Deleting your TabDaddy account does not cancel the subscription.

You send the messages. TabDaddy writes a draft and hands it to your phone; you decide whether to send it, to whom, and after editing it however you like. What you send is yours.

The messages are meant to be funny. They are written to be pointed at the debt and never at the person — no slurs, nothing about protected characteristics, nothing about appearance, nothing sexual, no threats. A safety check runs before you ever see one, and anything that fails it is replaced.

AI is imperfect. Read the message before you send it. Once you press send it is your message, and you are responsible for it.

If a message you received through TabDaddy is abusive or you want it removed, email us and we will act on it.

If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive service messages from TabDaddy, such as replies to support requests and notices about your account. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Opting out of service messages does not close your account.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

If you signed up by scanning a TabDaddy QR code and giving us your mobile number, you agreed to receive commercial and promotional messages from TabDaddy as well as service messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing messages at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of using TabDaddy, and opting out does not affect your account.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

TabDaddy is provided as is. Receipt reading is automated and can be wrong — check the numbers. We do not promise the service will always be available, and we may change or discontinue parts of it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

You can stop using TabDaddy whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend an account that is being used to harass people or to break these terms.
